In the Zone Coaching

You know that feeling you get when everything's in sync with your team, you are hitting goals and deadlines, and there is a certain smoothness to the flow of work?  That is what we call being "in the zone" at the workplace.  At Learning Beam, we specialize in facilitating an individualized coaching program with our clients that gets them to the next level and firmly on the path to achieving their workplace and career goals.

Here's how Vinay Nadig, our Chief Learning Facilitator would engage you in "In the Zone" coaching:

It's a bit curious I'm sure to think of being in the "zone" at such a boring place as your work. I mean - you associate this usually with supremely skilled sportsmen performing their chosen art at peak levels. But, honestly - how many of us are going to feel or be like Mike/Lance/etc?? Well - I think we ought to find "it" at the place we spend such a lot of time - the workplace!

My vision of coaching is very practical.  It focuses on providing the tools that are necessary to maximize your strengths and minimize your weaknesses in the workplace.  My coaching program is based on objective assessments.  After a preliminary chat (which is complementary) with you, we will decide on which assessment to use - based on your current needs.  We will focus exclusively on your workplace environment - this coaching program is not what is referred to as "life coaching."  There are other resources for that - I focus on helping you realize your potential at your workplace.

So, for example - we may decide to start you off with a DiSC Classic assessment (which can be taken in 15 - 25 minutes online from the comfort of your home or office).

Next we would have a telephone/face-to-face conversation, where I go over the assessment report and ask you to give me your feel for the results.  You may agree or disagree, and it is perfectly fine to disagree with the results - what I will be looking for is a common ground based on whatever portion of the results you do agree on.

Next we will work through an Action Planner - which is also a structured instrument that will assist us in laying out what your road map needs to be to achieve your goals.

Once we do this, we will decide on a schedule of appointments (telephone or face-to-face) over a period of 4-6 months.  I believe in a minimum commitment of 4 months (twice or thrice a month) - and an ideal commitment of 6 months.  To initiate sustainable change - you and I will have to invest a reasonable amount of time and energy - and anything lesser than this is probably a waste of effort.

The best way to see if coaching would work for you or your employees - is to chat with me - just send me an email at vinay.nadig@learningbeam.com andwe can take it from there.
